Inter have emerged as a potential landing spot for Barcelona striker Luis Suarez after Juventus prefer to sign Edin Dzeko from AS Roma, according to a report from the online edition of Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
There are not many clubs in Italy capable of affording Suarez but Inter are one of them thanks to the financial backing that they have from owners Suning, according to the report.
According to the report, although Inter already have Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez up top, the possibility of being able to sign Suarez on a free transfer, if he secures his release from Barcelona, is really tempting for the Nerazzurri.
Suarez could provide cover for Lukaku and Lautaro and would also give Inter manager Antonio Conte the option to rotate among the three of them, the report continues.
The report goes on to conclude that the Uruguayan national team player, who formerly played for Liverpool, would bring experience and character to an Inter team wishing to make their mark in both Serie A and the Champions League.
