Former Inter defender Fulvio Collovati discussed the Nerazzurri’s transfer market moves, the situation surrounding Lautaro Martinez and the quest for N’Golo Kante in an interview in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper il Giorno.

“In the meeting with the club where his destiny seemed to have been sealed, Conte actually won and they are satisfying him.

“For Juventus either Suarez and Dzeko must join or else there will be second-rate signings. I must say that I like the Inter that is taking shape.”

Collovati touched on what he’d like to see in the final few weeks of the transfer window.

“I hope Juve sign one or two strikers, I hope Inter sign Kantè and that Lautaro is not sold to Real Madrid.”

Finally, Collovati discussed Bianconeri forward Paulo Dybala and how he hopes the Argentine forward stays with the Turin based club.

“And on this subject, I hope that Juventus will not give up Dybala, convinced by a super offer.

“There is little money around and I don’t think that the work to strengthen the team, work that brought Kulusevski into the team, will be forgotten.”

The Nerazzurri placed their trust in coach Antonio Conte after meeting with the 51-year-old Italian back in August, with the club’s transfer policy changing to focus on signing more experienced veterans like Aleksandar Kolarov and Arturo Vidal.

The Milanese club believe that Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez is now incredibly likely to stay with the club, especially considering that Barcelona publicly admitted earlier that they cannot sign new players without selling unneeded ones.

Inter will offer a new contract to Lautaro soon, with increased wages.
