Inter coach Antonio Conte commented on the Nerazzurri’s 7-0 friendly win over Pisa earlier today in a post on his Instagram page.

The Milanese club got off to a quick start against the Serie B side, with a 5th minute goal from 27-year-old Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku.

Three quick goals from Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini, Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez and Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen in 15 minutes followed the Nerazzurri’s strong start.

The 23-year-old Lautaro, who has been one of Barcelona’s top transfer targets for a while now, then secured his hattrick with goals in the 35th and 38th minute.

Eriksen, who moved from Tottenham in a deal worth €20 million in the January transfer window, then scored his second in the 74th minute, closing out a strong win for Conte’s squad.

Inter’s first competitive game is against Fiorentina next weekend in the San Siro.

Conte commented on the win, saying: “Great to be back at San Siro. Just a week to go until our Serie A campaign begins. Ready to start again.”
