Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal is likely to fly to Milan tomorrow before undertaking his medical exams with Inter on Monday, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how Nerazzurri defender Diego Godin’s move to Cagliari is close to completion now, with the 34-year-old agreeing to join the Rossoblu on a three-year contract worth €2.5 million per son including add-ons.
The former Atletico Madrid man found an agreement with Inter regarding his departure yesterday. The player didn’t want to leave and so wanted to collect as much as possible from his contract, lasting until 2022.
After Godin’s departure, Vidal is free to join the club, the report continues, and it’s likely that he’ll fly to Milan tomorrow before taking his medical exams on Monday.
Vidal will sign a two-year contract with Inter worth €6 million a season, with an option for a third year. It’s unlikely that he’ll be ready to make his debut against Fiorentina next weekend.
