Paris Saint-Germain are seriously interested in signing Inter defender Milan Skriniar, but would need to pay around €60 million for him, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInter1908 earlier today.

The report details how the 25-year-old Slovakian centre back struggled to adapt to coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system last season and could leave before the closure of the transfer window in order to fund other investments, like Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.

Skriniar would cost around €60 million, the report continues, and PSG are not currently ready to pay this, as they would need to sell other players before paying the high fee.

Sporting director Leonardo is currently working on the outgoing transfer market and if they succeed in offloading unneeded players, they could make an attempt to sign Skriniar.

The 25-year-old Slovakian made 42 appearances across all competitions last season, providing two assists and helping the side keep 12 clean sheets, despite his shakiness.
