Barcelona had more than 15 online meetings with Inter and Lautaro Martinez’s agents regarding a possible move, as well as one in person in a few days ago, according to a report from Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo earlier today.

The report details how the Blaugrana have been chasing the 23-year-old Argentine striker for some time now, hoping he will be the long term replacement for Luis Suarez.

The Catalan side have offered Lautaro a five-year contract with an option for a sixth year, with higher wages than what he receives in Milan.

Lautaro’s agents Beto Yaqué and Rolando Zarate tried to obtain a concrete offer to present to Inter, the report continues, but the Catalan side failed to provide one due to the expenses of the deal.

As such, Inter are ready to offer the 23-year-old Argentine forward a new contract, which will be evaluated over the next few days.
