Inter are waiting to sell Antonio Candreva before they finalise the deal for Parma full back Matteo Darmian, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri made a gentleman’s agreement with the Emilian club last summer regarding the 30-year-old Italian full back, who joined from Manchester United last year on a four-year contract.

Inter will pay Parma €2.5 million for Darmian, the report continues, and the player will be given a four-year contract worth €2 million net per season.

The player made 34 appearances across all competitions last season for the Emilian club, for a total of 2685 minutes. In that time, he scored one goal and provided one assist.

The Nerazzurri are waiting to sell Candreva first, with Sampdoria pushing to sign the 33-year-old Italian wing back, who is valued at around €4 million by the Milanese club. President Massimo Ferrero will be in Milan tomorrow.
