Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal will finally join Inter after more than two years of planning, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri have been interested in signing the 33-year-old Chilean midfielder for some time now, being linked with him in the last five transfer windows across the last two years.

Vidal will be given a two-year contract worth €6 million net per season, with an option for a third year.

Barcelona wanted a compensation fee of €1.5 million for the 33-year-old Chilean, the report continues, but the Nerazzurri only offered €500 thousand, with an agreement eventually being met in the middle at €1 million plus add-ons.

The player is likely to wear the number 22 shirt, with his beloved number 8 currently being worn by Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino.

Coach Antonio Conte is a huge fan of Vidal and the pair will finally be reunited after their time together in Turin.
