Sampdoria are pushing to sign Inter wing back Antonio Candreva, who could be sold for around €4 million, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews earlier today.

The report details how the Blucerchiati are keen to sign the 33-year-old Italian wing back, and have offered him a three-year contract worth €1.5 million net per season.

The club may even increase the contract to three or four years in order to further convince the former Lazio man.

On Monday president Massimo Ferrero is expected in Milan for various market and professional commitments, the report continues, and could look to close out the deal for Candreva then.

Should Inter sell the 33-year-old Italian for €4 million, the funds could be immediately re-invested into the squad, with €1 million being used for the Arturo Vidal deal and the other €3 million being sent to Parma for Matteo Darmian.

Candreva scored seven goals and provided nine assists in 40 appearances last season.
