Inter & Sampdoria To Hold Further Talks Regarding Antonio Candreva Italian Media Reports

Talks are expected today between Inter and Sampdoria regarding a move for Italian wing back Antonio Candreva, according to a report from Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb earlier today.

The report details how the Ligurian side are incredibly keen to sign the 33-year-old Italian, who has one year left on his contract with the Nerazzurri.

The Blucerchiati have offered Candreva a contract worth €2.5 million net per season plus add-ons, which has convinced the former Lazio man to make the move to the Genoa based club.

New talks are expected today between the parties to define the terms of the deal, the report continues, which is likely to be completed before the Milanese club’s season opener against Fiorentina next weekend.

Candreva made 40 appearances across all competitions last season for Inter, for a total of 2537 minutes. In that time, he scored seven goals and provided nine assists, including netting the Nerazzurri’s goal of the season in the first game of last year against Lecce.
