Inter may not be alone in courting Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter are currently in the lead for the former Roma wing-back but Juventus could also come in for him in the event that Mattia De Sciglio is sold.

Juvetus have previously shown an interest in signing Brazilian born Italian national team player Emerson and with the right transfer formula, perhaps a loan with obligation to buy deal, they could certainly make themselves known in the race to sign him.

Emerson has found himself slide down the pecking order at Chelsea and has not featured in either of the games this season. He was limited to just 21 appearances across all competitions last season, in which he provided a single assist.

The 26-year-old has a contract with Chelsea until 2022 and multiple reports have stated that he could cost in the region of €25-30 million.
