Inter manager Antonio Conte tuned into Chelsea’s loss to Liverpool last night in order to keep an eye on two of his transfer targets according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Conte was watching Chelsea duo Marcos Alonso and N’Golo Kante in particular. Alonso is in the running alongside Emerson Palmieri, who is more expensive than Alonso, to be brought in to bolster Inter’s left wing-back department before the transfer window closes at the beginning of next month.

Former Leiciester City player Kante on the other hand is believed to be former Italian national team manager Conte’s dream signing as he looks to make an already good Inter midfield even better.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that Conte is waiting for the club’s owners Suning to make their moves for both the Spaniard and Frenchman.
