Inter need to sell a big name player if they wish to make a move to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter manager Antonio Conte dreams of being able to work with the Frenchman again but he costs a lot and is not on Chelsea’s transfer list either.

The sale of Marcelo Brozovic or Christian Eriksen would greatly help Inter in being able to move for Kante but at the moment there are no offers for the Croatian or Dane.

The report states that Inter could also raise funds by selling Milan Skriniar but Inter do not want to sell the central defender, who has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks.

Another possibility to finance a move for Kante could come through the sale of Lautaro Martinez. Barcelona have been after him for a considerable amount of time and would have to add a counterpart into negotiations on top of cash.

Luis Suarez and Junior Firpo could be included in a deal for Lautaro but it will not be easy as an agreement will need to be reached over the value of both players but the possibility certainly should not be ruled out.
