Inter youngster Eddie Salcedo is to return to Hellas Verona on a season long loan according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.

Hellas Verona sporting director Tony D’Amico and Salcedo’s agent Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Riso were both present at Inter’s headquarters earlier on today and the purpose of the meeting was to simply finalise the agreement already reached between Riso and Hellas Verona last week.

The Italian youth national team player spent last season on loan at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club and although he only scored one goal in 17 appearances across all competitions, he clearly made a mark on Hellas Verona manager Ivan Juric who recently stated he wanted him back at the club.

Salcedo joined Inter from fellow Serie A club Genoa in the Summer of 2018 but is yet to make any first team appearances for Inter. Salcedo is contracted to Inter until the end of the 2023/24 season.
