Inter To Move For Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri After Dalbert & Kwadwo Asamoah Leave Italian Media Underlines

Inter manager Antonio Conte dreams of signing one of his former Chelsea wing-backs according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Inter management are at work to bring Conte his much desired reinforcement at left wing-back and the two main names in contention to be signed at Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri.

As things stand, it is Emerson who is favoured. Alonso initially seemed easier to sign but has played in each of Chelsea’s games this season whilst Emerson has not played whatsoever yet.

Inter are not alone in liking Emerson though and face competition from fellow Serie A clubs Juventus and Napoli. Once Inter offload Dalbert and Kwadwo Asamoah, the report from the Turin based news outlet explains that Inter will make their move to sign Emerson.

Last season the 26-year-old made 21 appearances across all competitions, in which he provided a single assist for his teammates.
