Inter youngster Lucien Agoume’s agent Djibril Niang has confirmed that there is a deal in place with Spezia over a loan move.

On top of confirming that his client will move to the newly promoted Serie A side for the duration of the 2020/21 season, Niang has also confirmed that the highly rated French youth national team representative will sign a contract extension with Inter.

“It’s all done with Spezia. Now we will renew the contract with Inter for another year, until 2023 and then we will go to La Spezia to start this new adventure,” he explained in an interview with Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Agoume, who has often found himself compared to Manchester United and France midfielder Paul Pogba, joined Inter in the Summer of 2019 from French club FC Sochaux.

Agoume was an almost ever present feature on the substitutes bench for the Inter first team last season, who he made three appearances for across all competitions, with all of them coming as a substitute.

By moving to Spezia on loan, the 18-year-old will be afforded far more game time than he would have had he stayed at Inter which will only be good for him developing as a player.
