Arturo Vidal wants to make his Inter debut this weekend against Fiorentina according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Chilean national team central midfielder’s long awaited move to Inter was finally completed earlier on today and upon signing his contract with the club he wasted no time before making his way to the club’s training facilities to begin training alongside his new teammates.
Vidal will do all he can to be available for Saturday’s Serie A season opener at home to La Viola and it remains to be seen whether he would be a starter or if he would come off of the bench. That decision will ultimately be made by Inter manager Antonio Conte.
It also remains to be seen where Vidal will play. When he previously worked under Conte he played as a mezzala in a 3-5-2 system but also played as an attacking midfielder in a 3-4-1-2 system.
