Sampdoria are close to completing the signing of Inter’s Italian wing-back Antonio Candreva Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport report on their homepage.

According to the report, Sampdoria and the former Lazio player are close to agreeing terms over a three year contract which would see Candreva earn €1,5 million neat per season.

Inter hope to cash in €3 million on the player, the report continues, and will use that cash towards completing the signing of Parma’s wing-back Matteo Darmian, who Inter have already agreed terms with but can’t sign until a player leaves first.

Now it seems that the Nerazzurri will be able to complete their 6th signing of this transfer window after Achraf Hakimi, Aleksandar Kolarov, and Arturo Vidal to go together with Alexis Sanchez and Stefano Sensi whom Inter had on loan last season.

Antonio Candreva joined Inter ahead of the 2016/2017 season from Lazio in a deal worth a reportedly €22 million. Since joining the Nerazzurri he has 151 times across all competitions for the club scoring 18 times.
