Tottenham Hotspur have made an enquiry to Inter with regard to central defender Milan Skriniar according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Inter responded to the Premier League club’s enquiry by telling them that if they want to sign the Slovakian national team player then they will have to cough up a sum of €60 million.

Spurs are however working on lowering the Nerazzurri’s demands for the former Sampdoria player, who has also been linked with a potential move to French powerhouses Paris Saint-Germain.

In the event that Skriniar goes on to leave the club, Di Marzio explains that Inter could replace him with Fiorentina central defender Nikola Milenkovic, who is said to be worth around €40 million.

The Serbian national team player, who is contract to La Viola until 2022, has also been linked with a move to Inter’s crosstown rivals AC Milan.
