Eddie Salcedo is to return to Hellas Verona in a season long loan deal from Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Hellas Verona manager Ivan Juric wants Salcedo back at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi club and all that is required before he can be satisfied in this regard is for Inter to give the green light to the loan deal.
During his spell at the Gialloblu club last season, Italian youth national team representative Salcedo was limited to 17 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored a single goal, due to an injury.
Despite his limited playing time he clearly made an impression on Juric and should play regularly this season for them. Playing regularly at Inter would be rather unlikely for him given the number of attackers already at the club.
Salcedo joined Inter in the Summer of 2018 from fellow Serie A side Genoa but is yet to make a competitive first team appearance yet.
