Inter are one of five potential landing spots for Barcelona’s Samuel Umtiti according to a report from the online edition of French news outlet France Football.
The 26-year-old central defender has recently struggled with injuries and as a result he is not part of newly appointed Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman’s plans.
Manchester United have a great interest in signing Umtiti in order to plug the gaps in their defence whilst a return to former employers Lyon also cannot be ruled out as he could be included in Barcelona’s bid to sign Memphis Depay.
As for Inter, the report explains that it is possible that the 2018 World Cup winner could be included in negotiations between Inter and Barcelona over Lautaro Martinez.
The other two potential landing spots for Umtiti are Arsenal, who are seeking a leader in their defence, and Ligue 1 outfit Rennes, who could acquire him on loan with Barcelona said to be open to loaning Umtiti out in order to trim their squad and wage bill.
