Inter manager Antonio Conte continues to hope that N’Golo Kante can be brought to the club before the transfer window closes according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.

Conte is convinced that by signing Kante Inter can make a similar leap in quality to the one they made when they signed Romelu Lukaku during the Summer of 2019 from Manchester United.

Unlike Lukaku did, Kante has not asked to leave his current employers Chelsea and whilst it seems like utopia for him to arrive at Inter, the report states that some things are beginning to fall into place.

Should both Marcelo Brozovic and Radja Nainggolan leave, Inter will have funds available to them to make a move for the 2018 World Cup winning season.

Conte is hopeful that concrete moves will be made for some of Inter’s big players given that Inter signing Kante is very much dependent on them making a big sale.

The report adds that central defender Milan Skriniar is even on the transfer market.
