Edin Dzeko appears destined to remain in the Italian capital with Roma according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere di Roma.

Dzeko has recently drawn strong links to Juventus but their recent acquisition of Alvaro Morata appears to have put an end to Dzeko’s chances of a move to the reigning Italian champions.

The veteran Bosnia and Herzegovina national team striker has also been linked with Inter for a long time but at the moment Inter currently have no space for him in their ranks.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that Inter would only make a move to sign the former Manchester City striker in the event that Barcelona linked Lautaro Martinez departs the club.

Last season Dzeko made 43 appearances across all competitions and in just over 3500 minutes on the field, Dzeko scored 19 goals and provided 14 assists for his teammates.
