Ivan Perisic will be staying with Inter and it now remains to be seen whether Inter will continue to pursue a new left wing-back or not according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Based on his involvement during pre-season as well as his recent comments, Perisic looks set to be staying put at Inter and him staying does not necessarily rule out the signing of a new left wing-back.

The signing of a new left-back depends on a sale, the sale of Brazilian wing-back Dalbert. Should he go on to leave the club, Inter will then go out hunting for a new left wing-back with Chelsea duo Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso at the top of the list.

In the event that Dalbert does not leave the club, the report from the Rome based news outlet explains that Perisic will get more chances to play.
