Unless any offers arrive for Ivan Perisic, he will be staying with Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Perisic is back at Inter following a season long loan spell at Bayern Munich last term and as things stand offers are unlikly to be made for him before October 5, when the transfer window closes.

If he does stay, which looks highly likely, Inter manager Antonio Conte could use him as an alternative to Ashley Young at left wing-back and also even use him in the attack.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that Perisic staying at Inter would in fact rule out the arrival of a new left wing-back such as Emerson Palmieri or Marcos Alonso.

Inter have long been linked with moving for the two of them. Inter have agreed terms with both players but Chelsea’s demands mean a deal hasn’t been reached between the clubs.
