Sampdoria hope to have Antonio Candreva available to them for their match with Fiorentina in just over one week’s time according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Secolo XIX.

Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero and manager Claudio Ranieri have both called the Inter wing-back in a bid to convince him to join them but as things stand, Candreva currently has several other clubs interest in him.

Fiorentina and Atalanta are among the other clubs interested in signing him and the former Lazio winger is also said to be keeping an eye on developments at Napoli, who could potentially move for him in the event they move some of their players on.

Candreva joined Inter in the Summer of 2016 and he has just under a year left to run on his contract with the club. Last season he scored seven goals and tallied nine assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.
