Nikola Milenkovic is Inter’s number one target to replace Milan Skriniar if he leaves according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

Skriniar is a transfer target of Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and a sale to the north London club is a possibility and far from a certainty.

Inter are therefore yet to make any official offers to sign Milenkovic but they are in fact in contact with his agent Fali Ramadani.

If Skriniar does leave, Inter will be ready to move for the Serbian national team player, who Fiorentina are demanding a sum of €40 million for, a fee Inter could afford with the sale of Skriniar.

AC Milan have also been linked with moving for Milenkovic but have taken a step back due to being unwilling to meet Fiorentina’s demands for him.

Milenkovic, who has been with Fiorentina since 2017 and is under contract with them until 2022, has made 97 appearances for La Viola, in which he has scored eight goals.
