Inter are looking to make a big sale and would be willing to sacrifice central defender Milan Skriniar according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have taken a liking to Skriniar but Inter’s €50 million asking price for the Slovakian national team player is a tough obstacle for them to overcome given their lack of liquidity.

The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to explain that the former Sampdoria player could well become a sort of wildcard on the transfer market with Inter hoping for a big offer to arrive from the Premier League for him.

Skriniar joined Inter back in the Summer of 2017 in a player plus cash deal from fellow Serie A side Sampdoria and is still contracted to Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season. Last season the 25-year-old player tallied two assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.
