Milan Skriniar has given his consent to a move from Inter to Tottenham Hotspur according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Slovakian gave his consent to a move yesterday when representatives from Spurs appeared in Milan to hold talks with his agent over their plans for him and the contract he would receieve in north London.

It is now up to the clubs to reach an agreement over the former Sampdoria player. A deal could be done for a fee in the region of €50-60 million and Inter would make a great capital gain if he is sold for that amount seeing as he is valued at €16 million against the club’s books.

Whilst Inter would ultimately like to keep Skriniar, they know that the accounts must be sorted and since neither Christian Eriksen or Marcelo Brozovic have left, the sale of a big player must be done.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to explain that the number one target to replace Skriniar is Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic, who is also a target for AC Milan.

AC Milan are prepared to offer €20 million whilst Inter, who are yet to make any offers, could offer a little more than that. Fiorentina however do not want to sell Milenkovic and have slapped a €40 million pricetag on his head.
