Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has made an enquiry to Inter about Ivan Perisic and his availability according to a report from French news outlet Foot Mercato.

Paris Saint-Germain could bring the Croatian national team player, who spent the duration of last season on loan at Bayern Munich, who passed up on their option to buy him on a permanent basis, in on a loan with option to buy basis.

The report goes on to explain that Paris Saint-Germain will face strong competition for Perisic with Manchester United already having a head start in negotiations to sign him.

This is due to the fact negotiations have already been taking place for several weeks. The report also states that if there is an opportunity for Paris Saint-Germain to swoop in, they will do so.

Perisic joined Inter back in 2015 and is still under contrat with the club until the end of the 2021/22 season. He has scored 40 goals and tallied 35 assists in 163 appearances for the club.
