Sampdoria Bound Antonio Candreva Bids Inter Farewell: “Proud To Have Given Everything For The Nerazzurri Shirt”

Inter wing-back Antonio Candreva has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagam to bid farewell to Inter prior to completing his transfer to Sampdoria.

The Italian is on the brink of completing a move worth €2.5 million to La Samp, who he will reportedly sign a four year contract worth €1.5 million net a year with.

The 33-year-old joined Inter back in the Summer of 2016 as one of then new owners Suning’s first signings at the club.

Candreva spent three of his four years at Inter playing as a winger but last season he was transformed into a right wing-back under Inter manager Antonio Conte and performed well in that role with him tallying seven goals and providing nine assists.

All in all Candreva made 151 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri. In his time on the park, he scored a total of 18 goals and also provided 31 assists for his teammates.

He posted: “Proud to have given everything for the Nerazzurri shirt. Thanks to the fans for all the love and support in these years. I tried to reciprocate it on the pitch, always, until the last drop of sweat. I hug you and good luck.”
