Arturo Vidal did not train whatsoever today according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Inter new boy did not train because of an injury but because he had to complete the bureaucratic procedures relating to his transfer to Italy and regularise his job position, the Milan based news outlet explains.

The Chilean national team player, who finally joined Inter after a long courtship, earlier on this week, will be available to train alongside his new teammates again tomorrow in view of Inter’s 2020/21 Serie A season opener at home to Fiorentina on Saturday night at San Siro.

Multiple reports in the Italian media have stated that the former Barcelona player is hopeful of making his first appearance for the club against La Viola and it remains to be seen whether he will start in the match or start on the substitutes bench.
