Antonio Candreva’s move from Inter to Sampdoria will be made official today according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter and Sampdoria have agreed a €2.5 million fee for the Italian wing-back, a fee which will be spread out over several years.
Candreva, who has agreed a four year contract with La Samp, worth a reported €1.5 million a year to him, has spent the past four years of his career with Inter following his arrival at the club in the Summer of 2016 from fellow Serie A side Lazio.
He arrived at the club as a winger and played there for the first three years of his spell with the Nerazzurri but spent last season playing as a wing-back and did so with great success under the guidance of Inter manager Antonio Conte who really rejuvenated him.
Candreva will leave Inter having made 151 appearances in which he scored a total of 18 goals and also provided his teammates with 31 assists.
