Juventus have an advantage over Inter in the race to sign Chelsea’s Emerson Palmieri according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.
Both clubs remain interested in adding the Brazilian born Italian national team wing-back to their ranks and as things stand the reigning Italian champions have an advantage over their Nerazzurri rivals in negotiations.
Emerson has long been linked with a departure away from the Premier League club, where he is seemingly surplus to requirements as evidenced by the fact he has featured in just one of the Blues’ three games across all competitions to date this term.
The 26-year-old joined his current employers in the January transfer window of the 2017/18 season and is still under contract with them until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Various reports elsewhere in the media have stated that the player is valued in the region of €20-30 million by Chelsea.
