Genoa have announced that they have signed Inter youngster Darian Males on a season long loan via their official Twitter profile a short time ago.

The 19-year-old Swiss youth national team representative will spend the duration of the 2020/21 season on loan at the Rossoblu club who have an option to turn his temporary stay at the club into a permanent one although they do not disclose how much it will cost them to do that.

As part of the deal, Inter, who only just signed Males from Swiss Super League side FC Luzern a few weeks ago, have a counter-option which will enable them to re-sign Males in the event that Genoa take up their purchase option. It has also not been disclosed how much it would cost Inter to do this.

Last season Males had his first team breakthrough at FC Luzern where he made 21 appearances at first team level, in which he scored two goals and tallied four assists.
