Inter’s Moroccan international wing-back Achraf Hakimi has chosen the number 2 jersey, the Nerazzurri announced via their official Twitter account moments ago.
The former Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund player, signed for Inter this past July in a deal reportedly worth €40 million, and is expected to make his first official appearance for the club tomorrow against Fiorentina in the opening match of the 2020/2021 Serie A season.
Hakimi had withheld his choice of shirt number until Diego Godin’s future at the club was decided, seeing as the Uruguayan international had the number 2 jersey at Inter prior to the Moroccan.
