Inter are still willing to negotiate with Cagliari regarding a transfer for Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan, but want a definitive solution, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com earlier today.

The report details how the Nerazzurri want to sell the 32-year-old Belgian outright or on a loan deal with a buy obligation attached.

The total cost of the deal would be around €12 million, the lowest fee that would allow the club to not record a capital loss on the balance sheets.

The sale would also save Inter around €16 million gross that the player should receive until 2022, making the deal even more beneficial for the Milanese side.

As such, Cagliari will not be given a discount on the player, who impressed last season on loan with the Rossoblu and even wore the captain’s armband.

Nainggolan made 29 appearances across all competitions last season for the Sardinian side, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in that time.
