Reports from the Italian media today criticised the performance of Inter debutant Aleksandar Kolarov in Inter’s thrilling 4-3 win over Fiorentina yesterday.

Italian media outlet PassioneInter gave the Serbian veteran a 5.5 rating, discussing his unconvincing debut and mistakes that led to Fiorentina’s opening goal in the 3rd minute. He also was late for the Viola’s third goal and his shots were all disappointing.

Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport gave the player a 4.5 rating, highlighting his mistake for the first goal and his failure to adapt to long balls.

Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport gave Kolarov’s performance a 5 rating, discussing how he found himself marking two players in the first goal movement and how he gave too much space to Federico Chiesa.

Finally, a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport gave Kolarov a 5, noting that he struggled to keep up with the high tempo of the match and generally did not show off his qualities.
