Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen disappointed in the Nerazzurri’s 4-3 win over Fiorentina yesterday, with the club still willing to sell the Dane, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the Milanese club worked hard to overturn their 3-2 deficit in yesterday’s game against the Viola, with new signings like Arturo Vidal and Achraf Hakimi appearing as substitutes rather than starting.
Christian Eriksen and Ivan Perisic both started against the Florence based club, the report continues, and struggled to impress coach Antonio Conte.
The Croatian, considering that no offers have arrived for him, will be forced to adapt to Conte’s tactical system, featuring as a wing back.
The Dane again disappointed as a trequartista yesterday and a fair offer may see him leave Milan, which would allow the Nerazzurri to work on signing Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, the 51-year-old Italian’s top transfer target.
