Italian stats provider Opta Paolo highlighted how Inter have scored four goals or more in their second consecutive season opener for the first time since 1961 in a post on Twitter yesterday.
The Nerazzurri, under the guidance of coach Antonio Conte, beat a hungry Fiorentina side in an exciting 4-3 win yesterday, with a late winner coming from defender Danilo D’Ambrosio.
The Milanese club beat Lecce in their season opener last season 4-0 in Milan.
