Torino want to get rid of Armando Izzo and are trying to speed up talks with Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The Turin based club no longer see Izzo as being part of their plans and club president Urbano Cairo would like to sell the Italian central defender as soon as possible in order to raise funds which could help club management make signings to complete Marco Giampaolo’s side.

Torino, alongside his agent Mino Raiola, are now trying to accelerate negotiations with Inter and the report goes on to explain that although Cairo wants €25 million for him, he would be willing to drop his asking price to €20 million in order to sell Izzo.

The 28-year-old joined his current employers back in 2018 and is contracted to them until the end of the 2023/24 season but it appears highly unlikely that he will be with the club anywhere close to then.
