Inter linked Marcos Alonso could leave Chelsea before the transfer window closes according to a report from the online edition of British daily newspaper The Daily Mail.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard berated the Spanish full back infront of the rest of the team following this weekend’s 3-3 draw against West Bromwich Albion after he was at fault for two of the goals and for his conduct upon being substituted.
He was substituted at half time and rather than watch the second half of the match with his teammates, he went to watch the second half of the match on the team bus before later returning to the stadium, something that seriously angered Lampard.
As a result of his actions, the report suggests that former Fiorentina player Alonso could be moved on before Monday’s transfer market closure.
The 29-year-old has been strongly linked with a potential switch to Inter and it now remains to be seen whether he will leave the London based club or not.
