Due to 14 Genoa players testing positive for COVID-19, two of the match officials originally assigned to officiate tomorrow’s Serie A match between Benevento and Inter have been taken off of the match.

Francesco Fourneau and Federico La Penna, who were assigned to be the referee and fourth official respectively, were both present at the Stadio San Paolo for Napoli versus Genoa at the weekend and following the positive tests they have been removed from their duties tomorrow as a precaution.

Marco Piccinini has been drafted in to replace Fourneau as referee whilst Livio Marinelli will now be the fourth official for the match which will be played at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.

Benevento versus Inter is scheduled to kick off at 18:00 local time and will be each sides second game of the 2020/21 Serie A season. Both sides made winning starts to their campaigns at the weekend with Benevento beating Sampdoria 3-2 and Inter beating Fiorentina 4-3.
