Inter’s Andrea Ranocchia will most likely become a Genoa player before the transfer window closes this coming Monday according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
The experienced Italian central defender has been linked with a move to the Rossoblu club for a few weeks now but will not complete a move prior to Inter’s match away to Benevento tomorrow evening.
Inter want to wait until after the game before dealing him away because Inter manager Antonio Conte may need to call upon him against Gli Stregoni. Ranocchia will then undergo a medical with Genoa on Friday prior to completing a move, a move which will end his nearly 10 year association with the club that began in January 2011.
The report goes on to add that Matteo Darmian will meanwhile undergo a medical with Inter on Friday as well ahead of a transfer to the club from fellow Serie A club Parma.
