Inter & Cagliari Have Not Agreed Deal For Radja Nainggolan Yet According To Italian Media Report

Inter are still in talks with Cagliari over a deal to sell Radja Nainggolan, according to Wednesday’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Multiple reports in this morning’s papers suggest the clubs have agreed a €12 million fee for the midfielder to rejoin the Rossoblu, having played for Cagliari on loan last season.

But the Rome-based publication said they were still distant from an agreement, with only five days until the transfer window shuts.

Inter have lowered their asking price to €8 million but Cagliari still deem that to be too high.

Nainggolan is prepared to spread his wages across a three-year contract in a bid to help Cagliari get a deal over the line.

The clubs could reach a compromise by including two of the Sardinians’ youngsters in the transfer, with Riccardo Ladinetti and Nunzio Lella named as possible makeweights.

Nainggolan has made 37 appearances for Inter since joining in 2018 and featured in the last 15 minutes of Saturday’s 4-3 win over Fiorentina.
