Inter Coach Antonio Conte To Make Seven Changes For Benevento Fixture According To Italian Media

Antonio Conte is expected to make seven changes to his Inter XI when the Nerazzurri face Benevento in Serie A tonight, according to Wednesday’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Conte is looking to start the new league campaign with two straight victories after Saturday’s dramatic 4-3 win at home to Fiorentina.

Samir Handanovic, Aleksandar Kolarov, Ashley Young and Romelu Lukaku are the only four players expected to keep their place in the starting line-up as Conte looks for fresh legs at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.

Achraf Hakimi and Arturo Vidal are likely to make their first starts for the club against Pippo Inzaghi’s newly-promoted outfit, having appeared as substitutes against Fiorentina.

Milan Skriniar and Stefan de Vrij will return to Conte’s three-man defence alongside Kolarov, with Roberto Gagliardini and Stefano Sensi completing the line-up in midfield.

Alexis Sanchez will deputise for Lautaro Martinez in attack, as the Argentine is rested for Sunday’s fixture away to Lazio.
