Cagliari hope to be able to finalise a deal to bring Radja Nainggolan back to the club within the next 48 hours according to a report from Italian journalist and transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

Cagliari are working non-stop to try and get a deal done for the Inter central midfielder, who spent last season on loan them. If Cagliari are unable to get the deal in this time frame they will work until the bitter end in order to get one done.

Inter want to offload Nainggolan on a permanent basis, perhaps via a loan with obligtion to buy deal and Cagliari have accepted Inter’s conditions.

Inter initially valued Nainggolan at €15 million but the evaluation has now dropped to €12 million and could still drop a little more.

Pedulla goes on to state that it is possible that a young player could be included in the deal. Inter like young defender Andrea Carboni but Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini is blocking his departure.
