Dalbert is to leave Inter for Ligue 1 club Rennes according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Di Marzio’s report states that a paid loan with an option to buy, set at €12 million, has been agreed between the two clubs and that the player will travel to France ahead of undergoing a medical tomorow.

French broadcaster RMC Sport journalist Mohemd Boufasi reports that Dalbert is expected to arrive in France tonight and undergo his medical examinations tomorrow.

Di Marzio goes on to add that with Dalbert leaving, it frees up space for Inter to bring in a new left wing-back and at the moment the favourite is Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso.

Inter have been linked with moving for Alonso for a long time and it remains to be seen if Inter will manage to get a deal done for him and under which conditions.
