Inter have shown that they now how to be both dominant and cynical with their performance in yesterday evening’s 5-2 win over Benevento.

Inter opened the scoring at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito after just 30 seconds and went into the half time interval leading 4-1. Lautaro Martinez scored Inter’s fifth goal shortly after coming off of the substitutes bench.

Every time Inter went up the field it looked like it could have been a chance to score and they also enjoyed 66% of possesion in the match in Campania.

New recruit Achraf Hakimi was overwhelming whilst another new recruit in Arturo Vidal showed that he is already a leader after just two appearances in an Inter shirt. Alexis Sanchez also performed to the level everyone knows he can.

Inter have scored nine goals in their opening two league games for the first time since the 1961/62 season but at the same time Inter have conceded five goals and this imbalance needs to be addressed immediately given Inter’s next opponents are Lazio.
