Inter and Tottenham Hotspur are set to have further talks over Milan Skriniar this weekend according to a report from the online edition of British newspaper The Express.

The north London based club are desperate to bring in a new centre back after letting Jan Vertonghen walk away for nothing and although Spurs have had an initial offer for Skriniar rejected, they could submit a new and improved bid when they sit down with Inter again on Saturday.

Inter initially wanted €60 million but are said to be willing to consider an offer in the region of €50 million for the Slovakian national team player now.

If Spurs do not submit an improved offer when they meet then Skriniar will remain at Inter. If Skriniar is to leave Inter, Inter want it completed on Saturday to give them as much time as possible to find a replacement prior to Monday’s transfer deadline.
